- November 4th, 2006 - [My thanks to Bobby for his help] I met Gen in 1991 at a club in Jax, Florida; we've been friends ever since. How would you describe your roles with the band? I am the stage manager and performer but also there for humor, like sitting around with Bizz making up words and meanings that don't exist. How did you first meet and become involved with the band? Met Gen in 1991, but started touring hard the past few years. Any memorable events that have stood out as a direct result of your relationship with Gen or the Genitorturers? There's so many, I'd have to write a book. I would say touring Europe and just every single nasty thing that has gone on either on, or off stage. I owe it all to Gen; thanx for getting me laid a million times. What reactions do you generally get from people before and after shows? Very friendly - I think they are scared to be rude because they might wind up with an enima on stage; but usually very good fans. What has it been like touring with Combichrist on tour with KMFDM? Amazing, two great bands that work as a machine and very respectful to one another; very fun tour. What are some of your musical influences? So many: Genitorturers, KMFDM, punk bands, industrial, the Stones a wide variety. Do you play any musical instruments? Yes I am a drummer and have played and toured all over. Have you been involved with any other bands - either behind the scenes, or live on stage? Again so many, everything from Bad Company to Korn; it's been a long road. Are you involved in any side projects / other artistic/creative endeavors? I also work in the fashion industry, repping for clothing companies and working stores. What are your favorite 3 venues to play at? That's tough, any place that has a secret room so you can take your girlfriend in there after the show. What type of venues do you prefer playing? Bigger the better. I do like small intimate places, but venues that have room to do all the things that we do helps. What is your favorite food and drink (of any nature)? Jack Daniels and cocaine, hahaha just kidding. I fucking love BBQ and drinking miller high life in the bottle. What is your preference for clothing and footwear, both on and off stage? Well, on stage it's what costume goes with what's going on... and a combat boot or stage boot. Off stage, I wear off the wall stuff: dumb t-shirts, fur coats, tight lip service pants, and my favorite shoe is a pair of orange colored converse (chuck taylors baby). What are some of your interests outside of music? Fetish models, cooking on my grill, working in fashion and waiting for that one hot freaky girl to tame my ass down. What are your thoughts on combining music and visuals in a performance? Amazing, anything to give effect to a show is brilliant. What is your view on the aspects of pleasure and pain? I'm all about some pleasure and i'll dish out pain as needed. Do you have a personal message you would like to share? Always be yourself because only you can make that happen. And never kiss a hot girl until you know she's a girl, I got tricked...lol.
